Why do we use non-traumagenic origin terms?
Non-traumagenic system origins are a controversial topic and if you don't support non-traumagenic or non-disordered systems (and are not willing to discuss the topic and learn more) please DNI. We are primarily a traumagenic OSDD-1b system, however we feel the formation and function of our plurality is innately tied to being autistic, hence why we also consider ourselves neurogenic. Specific alters may use other origin terms to better define or explain their exact origin or formation. Why do we use alterhuman/otherkin terms?
Incase you don't know, alterhuman refers to someone who doesn't feel entirely human in some way, while otherkin specifically refers to someone who identifies as non-human on some level. Therian is a related term to otherkin, but it specifically refers to identifying as an animal. We're a non-human heavy system and we personally use otherkin identities as we feel it helps define how some of us experience being non-human in a human body.
